is there anyway I can my iPod nano in Windows Media Player instead of iTunes?

no i dont think so, wmp doesnt have the iPod update and tags for it to upload onto the iPod

I think it is possible, WMP would probably see it as a normal Mp3 or hard drive.. but dont take my word for it though, im not sure

in any way Id suggest u to stick with Itunes seeing as u get to sync youre ipod just by plugging it in..

No Windows Media Player doesn't not support the iPod. If you use Windows Media Player it is going to read the iPod as a normal MP3 player and simply write the data to the root of the directory which is the incorrect process for the iPod. All data has to be written to a specific file. This file stores the location of the iPod the Artist Name, Song Name, Encorder, Length etc.

The iPod cannot read music from the root of the directory and be able to play it. There are other programs that support this, Real Player, Anapod just to name a few.
