RE: Restart
I'm guessing a BSOD that restarts itself. Could be DirectX or your graphics diver acting up.

Start by running c:\windows\system32\dxdalg.exe and run through the diagnostics.

RE: Restart
It's dxdiag.exe. Should work from Start > Run... > dxdiag > OK.
If not: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxdiag.exe.
Finish the problem

RE: Restart
You have to disable the automatic restart to get the actual BSOD to be abled to read the error.

Press Winkey + Pause/Break, then go to the tab Advanced and press configure at the third button from the top.

There disable "Restart the computer automaticly"

Note: Actual names can be different don't have an english version.

EDIT: Added screenshots

Now next time your computer gets BSOD'd you can see the actual error code, write it down (or remember it) and post it here or google for it.

He means the windows key, the one you press to show the start menu, and you press the two keys when ever.

RE: Restart
with winkey I meant Windows Key

But you can rightclick My computer and press properties, it does the same.

If you follow my steps next time your computer crashes it will give the BSOD screen and won't restart, then you can read the error message, and tell us, or google for more info.
