why does sometimes when u have your status online it changes to the busy status without you changing it .it stays for a second or 2 then retuns back to online ,why does this happen

you might have it set to change your status to busy when you open a  full screen application (eg. a powerpoint presentation, movie, etc.)

to change it go to tools -> options -> personal -> uncheck 'show me as 'busy' and block my alerts etc.'

but maybe but i notive it on friends too when i am chatting with them ,it lasts about a second or so then returns back online

yeh, if you have that option checked then it changes your status to busy when you have the full screen application running, and then when you get out of it, or alt+tab into the msn window then it goes back to online
