O.P. Sad  Screen Resolution does not change [Solved]
Hello.

Today, I went to play a game that changes the screen resolution.
However, something weird happened: The screen resolution seemed to changed, however, it did not take the whole screen...
It looked something like this:

I thought that the game has somekind of a problem, so I went to manually change the screen resolution through display settings, changed my screen resolution to 800x600 (it is on 1024x728) and the same thing happened!
So I restarted my computer, but it still happens... :(

I don't know, it used to work a few days ago, but now it doesn't!

OS: Microsoft Windows XP SP1
Graphics card: Intel 82830M Graphics Controller
Computer Type: Laptop

Thanks :)

RE: Screen Resolution does not change
Is there an option in the game to change the screen resolution? (Not in the Windows control panel settings)

What is the name of the game are you trying to play?

Nope...
There is only a "Fullscreen Mode" however, it is disabled :S :S

"Adventure Ball".
However, it used to play fine without any black borders :S

some laptop screens dont like to stretch the image unless the image is  the same resolution as the laptop's native resolution. A driver update may fix that though.

But it was working fine before!
I dont know what is happening...

Edit: I fixed it :D
I went to the program that changes setting for the graphics card, and the there was an option saying "Full Screen (Without Limits)" and it was disabled!
I enabled it, and it works now! :D
I dont know how this happened, but I guess that my cat did this, because when you press "CTRL+ALT+F11" it disables/enables this option...
