Hey in a friend's messenger, only the email address is shown. I told him to do a fresh install and it's still wrong.

Tell him to goto
Contacts > Manage Contacts > View Contacts By > Display Name

I think he means as in in the converstion window...

So when they say  something it will say the email and not the display name...

I'm pretty sure it shows it as emails in contact list and convo windows, my friend has it like it and it shows emails in convos

What Messenger version do they have? Do they have MsgPlus! with any plugins? Operating System?

Tell them to give you the complete versions (not just 7.0 or 7.5).
