O.P. I can't open my encrypted log file!

I have formatted my windows and I have installed Messenger Plus.
Before I have saved an encrypted file log with a pass. But now with the new windows, msg plus says that the password is incorrect!

How Can I do?

If you've forgotten your password or somebody changed you password there is no way to get it back. This could be a bug? I'm not really sure.... But right now there isn't any way you could get your logs back. *that I know of*

Well... I had almost the same problem once...... When somebody uninstalled MsgPlus! from my computer.... and then I redownloaded it.... The chat logs wouldn't open... even though I knew the password.... I ended up losing everything I had.

I have done a test for this, I have created a new log file with the new windows, then I have installed msg plus on pc of my father ( similar situation ) and the new pass of log works 100% on this pc.

i think there is a way.

--add:

there is a location to download old version of plus? Such as v. 3.61.145 - 03/10/2005 ?

did you set a new password on the new computer/install of windows? I would say try that, or try setting the old password as the current one. I'm not sure, I've never had that problem.
