windows shouldnt ask for a sp2 cd if you installed it with a cd w/o sp2 even if you installed sp2 manually. what were you trying to do?

If you mean the Service Pack 2 CD, I'm pretty sure that they used to send it out completely free (when it came out), but now charge you for shipping.

Nope.. it's not charging for the shopping fee. It's completely free. Though I'm not sure whether ALL countries are provided for free. But I'm sure and definitely know that it's free, of course.

While the service pack 2 problem; when it prompt you when you're trying to install your cell phone, it won't prompt you that just for a cell phone, not as though it's Windows based cell phone though. But hornestly and seriously speaking, I doubt there's such happenings - sorry if i'm wrong though, this's just my opinion.

I think if they can give free delivery in India then they can give free deliveries in the UK

You made some mistake somewhere

well if the file thats its looking for cant be found it might be that it is corrupt personally i would reinstall sp2 that might fix it.

The file couldn't be found because it didn't exist, but Chris4 has got around it now.
