O.P. wireless problems again
i came home from school today and went to my computer and noticed that the wireless internet was not active on my computer.  i keep trying to connect to these wireless networks and they will never connect.  then i just closed the wireless networks in range window and after a while the icon in the system tray opens a little ballon saying that windows cannot connect to any wireless network.  that is very weird to me b/c there are several wireless networks avaliable to connect to that have high signals.  im running windows xp home sp2.  thanks.

Make sure that your router(s)  is/are in a suitable location (somewhere clear of junk for a clear signal) and make sure your not getting interference from any devices. Finally try repairing your network, this is all I can suggest as a WiFi user myself.

there is nothing in the way from my wireless card and the router.  it has never happened before and my computer nor the router has moved or anything that would be blocking it has not gotten in the way.    my computer just connected to some wireless network but its one of them where it never connects to the internet just the router.  Now windows is getting further in connecting to the main wireless network that i usually connect to but just as it is alost connected it just stops.

If your exprienced paste 192.168.1.1 in your browser and make sure your not being kicked off your own network. Only use this if your exprienced you might mess up with it and cause more problems.

are you trying it on the computer which is wire connected to the router?

im guessing a computer is... its recommended....

what does restarting the router do... sometimes mine goes down and wont let my computer reconnect... but after restarting the router its fine
