OK, are your chat logs in text or HTML? More importantly are your chat logs encrypted?

I'm not entirely sure, so don't count me on this, but I believe you cannot edit encrypted chat logs. You can edit none encrypted logs. Text logs should be easy, but if you are using HTML you will need to know exactly what to edit :).

I'm sorry I cannot help any further, but I know little about how chat logs work in Messenger Plus! Live.

indeed. You can't edit them directly... Though you could decrypt them, edit the decrypted log, and encrypt them again of course...

In that case, first decrypt the logs you wanna edit.

Then you need a HTML editor (which supports XHTML and CSS) in which you can edit what you want.

Or you can do it with a normal text editor like Notepad. But then you also need to know exactly what to edit as you would be editing the actual HTML code, like absorbation said.

After you've edited the logs, encrypt them again.
