Hello everyone,

I'm french and not very good in english language, excuse me if I dont speak very good

I've Windows Live Messenger Beta Test ... And I notice that Msn Plus isn't  compatible with it.

I would like to know if it exist a version of Msn Plus who is compatible with Windows live messenger.

Messenger Plus! 3.61 is only, but not fully compatible with Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0562 BETA. Unfortunately this beta is released to managed beta testers. Now, im not sure if you're managed beta tester, but if you aren't, it's easy to find 0562 on Google. Ofcourse illegally.

You can take a look at Messenger Plus! 3.61 working with WLM 8.0.0562 thread.

Unfortunatly,
Msg Plus! (Now known as Msg Plus! Live to suit the live messenger part of Windows Live Messenger) is in Beta as Windows Live Messenger itself.

Msg Plus! Live will be available to the public when Windows Live Messenger goes public. So remember to keep checking back.

On the other hand, Messenger Plus! 3.61 works with very limited features for Windows Live Messenger. Although personally, I do not recommend this.

My recommendation is to wait until the Public Version of MP!L is available.

I can also say that MSN Plus has nothing to do with msg plus as microsoft own MSN Plus and it has nothing to do with Patchou

Can I point out the program is called Messenger Plus! or MsgPlus! for legal reasons

Also, that you may expect a public beta if Windows Live Messenger has a public beta, however this time it seems unlikly as the program maybe more buggy, than previous versions from other years.

This is because Windows Live Messenger contains a lot of new code and Messenger Plus! Live is being coded from scartch.

Not correct.

Messenger Plus! and Messenger Plus! Live are and always will be (until MSN Messenger isn't used anymore by anybody) two different products.

Messenger Plus! will still continue to exist (and even maybe updated if a serious security bug is discovered) besides Messenger Plus! Live.

So, it is not "now known as"; they are both very different. It isn't simply a name change, it is a different program made from scratch and the old version (Messenger Plus!) will continue to exist and be used by those who don't or can't use Windows Messenger Live with Messenger Plus! Live.
