Yes. Run Windows Live Update and it asks you if you to update as you are signing in.

Im not getting the live update window though

It is now on Connect for Managed Beta Testers.

yes its been released and i actually like the look of the new build, except they should of kept the icons from the last build

it looks ok, but if you click "show details" it'll show Big Display Pictures which IMO makes or is gonna mean entirely more scrolling once you add Yahoo contacts an WLM contact, so i think they need to re-do that idea, make those pics smaller

Oh yeah, they have enabled u 2 turn off send and receve nudges, which have been the bane of my life due 2 Nudge happy step family one less annoyance, now for winks to be disabled and i will be happy as well as a checkbox which allows transfer of blocked file types.

you can disable winks Tools>Options>Messages>untick Play Winks etc

Well I must say I do agree with you, but then you have to think of this. This is a NEW look for Messenger. It needs NEW icons. That was the whole point of the client going "Live". The icons look fine, but like you I prefer the old ones in the last build as well as MSN Messenger 7.5.

i myself dont like the offline icons at all. hope thy change that
