i looked at the other bug reports and all that jazz, but i didn't read them all so i'm hoping this is a new bug. i downloaded messenger plus! 3 today for my messenger 7. but after installing it, when i double click messenger on my desktop, it show up on the bottom corner, but when i move my mouse on it, it disappears, i've tried reinstalling it, and restarting my computer, but nothing is helping.

When an icon disappears as soon as you move your mouse over it, it means that application has crashed and not closed its icon before it was stopped. It disappears when you mouse over it because windows just realized that.
Why it happens, however, is a different story. Try uninstalling msgplus, uninstalling msn messenger, reinstalling everything and what not.

I had a problem kind of the same, problem was i had another add on installed (rubbish one ) and it was clashing with Plus! so everytime i started msn, it crashed and the icon dissapeared when i hovered over it.
Basically my advice is check which add - ons you have installed or any programs which run in the background (maybe posting a list of your programs from task manager?) and un installing anything you dont use or any add ons you think may be interfering with Plus!
