pretty cool you even get the network status of live mail in case it doesnt work u get redirected to there for info, just like the service status on Msgr.

Your in classic view. Go to "Options" -> "Your Account" (left hand bar) -> Click the option: "Choose inbox layout: Windows Live Mail Experience or Classic Hotmail View " then "(Recommended) Use Windows Live Mail Experience ...".
