No, there will never be a Macintosh version of Messenger Plus! due to several reasons including these ones:
- I, the author, do not have a Macintosh
- The Macintosh platform does not have the technology (API) for an add-on like Messenger Plus!

What Kryptonate quoted... and really... There isn't much for a demand for Messenger Plus! for Macintosh... Okay, so there's a few people here and there... But it's not worth the trouble for Patchou even if it's possible with Macintosh's API...

yes as raceprouk said the best bet is indeed to find one or more mac developers who need projects (there allways lookin for new projects to do)

The installer wouldn't even run :-/

Even if by magic the installer managed to run, Plus would fail miserably at even getting close to hooking messenger. But you wouldn't even get that far :-/

The installer won't run: it's a format completely different to the Mac OS format.

If you mean via http://www.OnMac.net then once you've installed Windows on your Intel Mac and installed all the drivers then Messenger Plus! should work as normal.

dont think thats what he ment to say..

only "advantage" on teh NEW mac's running intel cpu's is that the used compilers are x86 compilers , only back fall is that windows code/program's are NOT compatible with OS X, best bet indeed is to find a max programmer, let him look at the way msg plus! has its options and let him converse with patchou if that mac programm gets stuck on some functionality orso....
