RE: Do I need...
you will need a decent power supply, but more importantly, you need a good cooling system

I don't know about a good powersupply, but you need a good cooling system ;)

About the cooling system I have a Thermaltake Volcano

And about the powersupply (Ultra V Series 400w PS ) i just bought one because the other died

I posted before here about having problems overcloacking, if I just increased a little bit my CPU, my system will freeze up or run very slow. The temperature was fine.

they both seem fine. the CPU clock speed should be increased by 0.01Ghz each time and tested after every inclination to make sure its stable. was it overclocked using your BIOS?
