Mess Patch Error?

O.P. Mess Patch Error?
Whenever i install Mess Patch, i cannot change my msn nickname and confirm it, well i can click apply but it wont change it, it will just change back as soon as i hit ok after hittin apply. :( can ne1 help?

Reinstall MSN Messenger? If it works try the patch again. If it stops working again report it to Mess.Be.

You have to remember the patch is illegal to use because it is changing the physical file itself.
