RE: Another MOBO question
When you power on the computer does the monitor display Check Video Cable (or some error message?) Is it black when you plug it in? Is there an error message when you disconnect it?

Dont be so rude about it. They arnt stupid questions if its the first time a person has reconstructed a pc they might miss these things. Just because its obvious to you, dosnt mean its obvious to him (and no offence YourNeighbour if you have done all this before)
And as for the hdd i said try WITH IT not try without it.. i read that there is no hdd attatched. fool.

If your not planning to use the onboard, why not just plug in your video card into the expansion and use it? Otherwise it would sound as if the onboard is faulty.

I think it's beacause it's idle.  I may have another HD lying around I can try and see what happens and try my video card.  If that doesn't work I may just take the MOBO back to the store and let them install a new one.  I'm going insane with this lol
Thanks I figured it out.  I had to plug in both power from the PSU the 20 pin and the 4 pin. lol

Thanks Scone I owe you one.  Who new there were two PowerSupply connectors on the Mobo.  That's my fault for not reading the Manual carefully enough.  :D

*cough*

2) Make sure you didn't forget to connect the four-wire power connector near the CPU.  It is required in addition to the main motherboard power connector.
