Hey,

Some friends were latley telling me about the movies they download via P2P programs, any of these famous like eDonkey, Limewire etc...

To be honest i haven't downloaded any movies using these programs, so i was somehow confused about the things they talked about.

The stories were somehow close, in all cases, they were not able to watch the movies, sometimes an internal error, other times scrumbled clips or Couldn't render movie.

so i was thinking it is some kind of licence problem , or encryption problem not sure.

so how to deal with this issue?

Chances are they downloaded corrupt files, using p2p to download movies isn't always that great, never has been for me to be honest... People can also put licenses on files so that you can only watch them a certain number of times, or so that you have to pay to watch them etc.

If you want to download films, you should use torrents instead.

and if you want to use torrents you need a program like utorrent to download whatever it is you want.

or they dont have the right codecs. go find a codec pack.

Or, i cant remember where I read, that some organization is putting fake title to fake file to see if they can stop piracy, which is impossible.
