I recognized it immediately as a prank. If it had indeed been closed, they wouldn't use ungodly large images to explain it. Plus I doubt they could have taken the case to court and had it over with in a couple of hours.

The keyword there was "immediately". I didn't need to see the paragraph at the bottom of the page before I found out that it was a prank. Of course the paragraph confirmed that, but that wasn't my point.
