This isn't a bug by Messenger Plus!. Have you tried restarting MSN Messenger? TO make sure its not a problem with Messenger Plus! uninstall it and try again.

I already met this problem and I don't think it's related to messenger plus!, but to msn's filter thing (you know, the same thing that blocks messages containing ".pif"...). It has the same effect in group convos (everybody split).
