wouldnt they be saved on your email server?
He might have told Outlook to delete the emails from the server when Outlook receives them... :)

Outlook stores everything in a single personal folders file with a .PST extension.  By default, this file is created under \Documents and Settings\<your_windows_user_name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ .  The default name is Outlook.PST, but both name and location can be changed.

If you retrieve the old personal folders file from the drive, you can set up your new profile to use it and will have all your old email.

When you go looking for it, make sure you have configured Windows to show hidden and system files.  Both "Local Settings" and "Application Data" folders are hidden.
