Well, iirc, in Texas it is legal to shoot someone if they are trespassing on your property . What's up with that? Shoot first, ask questions later?

btw, gun laws are ridiculous, in my opinion, guns should be removed altogether. But that is never going to happen so it really is too bad. Gun registries never work, speaking as a citizen from a country that wasted billions of dollars on an unsuccessful registry and then scrapped it. It is really easy to get an un "tagged" gun, even when you aren't looking for one (I speak from experience), a friend and I were curious as to what a gun store is like, so we went in to look, with my dad, the guy was trying to sell us a glock, and for an extra grand, he said he's throw in an un "tagged" gun...

It's not the laws, it's the need for laws that's ridiculous.
