I have two .avi's and want to merge them, add subtitles and then burn it. Which program(s) would be good to use?

Windows movie maker, burn with Dvd decrypter, Nero, or Dvd Shrink

I use Cucusoft Video Converter. If you place the subtitle file where the 2 .avis are, then it will automatically add them and merge them as one DVD mpeg. Obviously once you have your mpeg, then you need to author it so its able to be burnt as a DVD video disc

That Cucusoft video converter sounds good. I'll give it a try, thanks.

RE: DVD Burning
merge with virtualdub, add subtitles in a separate file, burn with nero

for the subtitles, here's an example file

and you can turn subs on/off in programs such as vlc (it has to be in same folder)

.zip File Attachment: example subs.zip (29.27 KB)
This file has been downloaded 140 time(s).

I might try that then since the Cucusoft thing doesnt want to add subs. I already have them in .srt format btw.
