An iPod nano is upwards of £100 for a few Gb, whereas you can get 20-30 Gb MP3 players for £120-220. I got a Philips HDD 120 from Ebay for £100, and it's ace! 20 Gb, inbuilt microphone, and the ability to record directly into it.

Please, oh Please work on some proper english.

All I will say in response to that, You get what you pay for.

I don't want an IPOD Shuffle because there is no screen, it would be hard to go through each song without seeing it on the screen and my memory isn't that great to remember what order the songs are in.

You are probably best off with a iPod Nano, Either the 1gb or 2gb.

Honestly speaking no one really needs more then a 1gb of music on a mp3 (at least I don't)

You won't listen to 8 GB in one trip out, most of it just sits there.

I also recomend a cheap mp3 player, one that you just stick into your computer with and drag the files you want on there onto it.

Apple says that you must use iTunes (there are some hacks to not use iTunes). You can use music that's not from ITMS, but you must import it into iTunes, but it rejects most files (mp3s are fine (for now :dodgy:)). iTunes also likes crashing.

i suggest u get something with 10gbs because u can have it for years and be able to fit all your music. it also depends on your budget because u can get a fairly cheap 10gb hard drive or a 6gb flash but much more expensive
