ok so i do alot of ringtones for my phone and use the software that came with my phone, (motorola phone Tools) and it works fine the only thing when i do mp3 ringtones it compreses the file and loses sound quality (32 kbps) even if it is a 20 sec clip, but i receive a rigntone from a friend sometime ago that he edited in someother program and it had better quality (64 kbps), once i transfered it to my phone it didnt lose any, so i want some software to like cutdown mp3s. and not lose quality.

i have Mobile Phone tools 3, and i upload ringtones of 20 seconds extracted from an mp3, i use Nero Wave Editor

128kbps @ 187kb = 15 seconds of good quality ringtone.

omg ur a 'genio' stayin with nero for sure, thanks

actualy motorola phone tools keeps reducing the kbps to 32 do you know why?

its a 203 Kb mp3 file at 128kbps, once on phone it goes to 53 kb at 32kbps

sry double post, but anyone? with motorola phone tools?
