=====================

Install:
========

- Close MSN Messenger completely (right-click on its icon in your systemtray and choose "exit").
- Run the installer provided within the zipfile.
- Restart MSN Messenger.

Uninstall:
==========

- Close MSN Messenger completely (right-click on its icon in your systemtray and choose "exit").
- Delete the file xfade.dll in your plugins directory. (the default directory is
  "\program files\messenger plus! 2\plugins" or "\program files\messenger plus! 3\plugins")
- Restart MSN Messenger.

Commands:
=========

/xfade
- Displays Usage instructions

/xrfade text
- Fade between 2 random colours

/xnfade <numcolours> <colour> .... <colour> text
- Fade through <numcolours> colours specified

Usage:
======

Colours are specified in hexadecimal in RRGGBB format, for example:
/xnfade 2 FF0000 00FF00 some text
(will fade from red to green)

Some other colours in hex:
FF0000 = bright red
00FF00 = bright green
0000FF = bright blue
000000 = black
FFFFFF = white
7f7f7f = grey
FFFF00 = yellow
FF00FF = purple
00FFFF = cyan

When specifying a colour code, you can use a "?" mark to replace that digit with a random value, eg:
/xnfade 2 ??0000 00??00 some text
(will fade between a random red colour and a random blue colour)

You can also replace a colour with "*" as a shortcut instead of using "??????", eg:
/xnfade 2 * 000000 some text
(will fade between a random colour and black)

Also instead of typing a colour in hex, the following colours are now supported as words:
red, black, blue, green, white, grey, cyan, yellow and purple
eg you can do:
/xnfade 2 red green some text

For multiple fade within the same piece of text you can do:
/xnfade <numcolours> <colour> .... <colour> some text
eg:
/xnfade 8 red green blue purple yellow cyan blue red some text

If you want to disable the fade mid text type a <ctrl-k> character (if it works you should see the
Plus! colour menu come up) and another one to re-enable it. This is mostly useful for putting smileys
inside a colour fade, for example:
/xrfade this is a piece of text <ctrl-k>:D<ctrl-k> with a smiley inside a colour fade

Disclaimer:
===========
Because there wasn't a readme provided with this version, I created one based upon the one provided with XFade v1.0. This readme isn't original.

I had to install Msg Plus! and MSN Messenger 7.5 for you but no problem.

That aint what is needed. Colornick is used to color the nick and  And Colour fader
is used to give a fade effect to the text. So please see and think about what you are posting. (I dont mean to be rude)

RE: Plugin:Colour fader
See "CookieRevised's reply to Colour Fade plugin" for detailed information regarding this plugin (and its different version numbers which are listed wrong in the plugin database; there is no v2.0 for example).

The correct and latest version is v1.01. To make sure you have the correct version and the documentation, (re)download the plugin from the above link.
