When the new site opens will there be a chance it will crash from and overload of traffic and will the server be to busy to allow all the people who try and download at the same time? How many mirrors will be available?

I assume that's why the release time is so awkward for European users

Due to time differences, the downloading should be staggered for a few days. This will help stop the servers overloading (we wouldn't want 10000000 people downloading simultaneously!)
