hey i was wondering why when i type in /wnp the script displays
NP  :  [/00:00] [] (Stopped)
instead of the song that is playing in WMP

Great little script this is! Just two minor annoyances.

1. I'm sure this is quite easy to do by editing some of the files but alas, I'm not a coder.
When I disable showing what I am playing on WLM, the display picture will still change to the album art of what I am listening to. How do I disable that?

2. If there's no album art in the album folder, seems it will fetch the cover from somewhere else (amazon maybe)? Any way to disable this?

On the topic of album arts, I wish it would read the album arts embedded in the files 'cause I got iArt embed all my music with the album art and lyrics so it looks better on my iPod

If needed, I could write a dll to provide the images and lyrics which are enabled in the file, if of course dt wants to use these in the script.

Or, I could just make a plugin type thing for mNP, I believe dt made that interface well over a year ago. If I can do so, I'll put it up here

I guess that shouldn't happen. I doubt dt meant that to be a feature. A simple if should fix that (I think; I've not MP! scripted in years), if I ever get around to it

Disabling "Show what I'm listening to" in WLM only affects the PSM, just the same as it would if you were using a plugin such as the built in WMP one. With this option disabled, the other features of this script, such as "Send Song" or "(!WAT)", "/mnp" etc still work. The "Show what I'm listening to" isn't a global on/off switch for this script, nor do I think it should be.

But, (there is always a but), as you know it doesn't work properly in WLM9. Do you have an estimate date for a new release?

this works for me with the extra stuff i added like i used to have in wlm 8

eg - "Is Listening to : 'artist' - 'title' ['length']"

but now there is just extra spaces and an extra dash at the end..
eg-
"Is Listening to :    'artist'    -     'title'     ['length']-"


ok i figure out why there was extra spaces, it was because i used [b] and [i] which doesnt work...

not sure why there's a dash at the end tho...
