O.P. Notifications and Sounds
I have to admit, I love the new design for the notifications options of Messenger Plus Live. One (admitedly minor) thing that I could see as an improvement is if we could use wma as an acceptable sound format. I often use the generic Messenger sounds for certain notifications, and MS now makes their native sounds in wma format.

Not a huge deal, but just something off the toip of my head :)

RE: Notifications and Sounds
I do not think this is possible because MP!L uses 'Lame Encoding and Libsndfile libraries' to read the files ..... and I don't think Lame or Libsndfile can read WMA :(

Sorry :)

PS: Someone correct me if I am wrong

Use WMA to MP3 converters. You can find some for free using google ;).
