Is there any way to make someone could make a script a lot like the World Cup script but using MLB scores? And maybe make it to where on the display picture it only shows the scores from a few select teams or something?

If the display picture thing can't be done, scores in a toast popup would be awesome.  Especially if you could customize what teams you saw instead of getting up to 15 popups at the same time.

Would it need to be an RSS feed or just anywhere? I really have no clue how to do this.

sports.yahoo.com - just look at the MLB Baseball part... That should have all of the days scores/ times the game will be played at as well as news stories and such which would be nice.  * I think that would work, i wouldn't know really, just a place with all the scores*...
