Is there a function or similar to see if a contact has MsgPlus! Live installed? I've looked in the documentation but havn't seen this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks .

Simply check the registry for any key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live.

If you are using a script then you don't need to do this because the script wont load unless it is installed.

It'll still load for me, I just want it to check if the contact I'm sending a message has it installed.

umm you didnt read correctly did you

Check if a CONTACT has messenger plus live installed

and no hmaster its not possible, would be an invasion of privacy i guess

Do we still have a /ping function?

Isn't there the ping command? It would be better off silent!

Even if it was a ping it would still have to send something to the contact. I'm trying to do it before a message is sent, more like a silent ping

Uh? I'm still using the /ping function!

And I think the /ping command does not make the difference between MP!L and other versions.
