O.P. Dodgy  Voice clips
If people send me voice clips or if I send a few, WLM crashes and normal msn. The problem started then stopped but it is now hapening again but less frequently.

I have WLM 8.0.0566 I just upgraded to the latest this instant and I am checking with my frend sending voice clips, it is now fixed.
