About the server load thing, if you're saving loading 1 page more up when replying, surely it helps?

Unless to load this page now it takes the same load as it did for both of them...

But how many of the total requests are for newreply? For every 50 showthread requests, there might be 1 newreply request...

Not much processing power is needed to add the quick reply box... it just has to output one more template and do some permission checks...
