Is there a message archive for MSN messenger?  I am trying to locate where I would see my previous conversations and I can't find where it can be located and looked at.  Anyone????

normally u can see where the conversations are stored, in conversations, logbooks

File > View Message History

or...

C:\Documents and Settings\<windows user account>\My Documents\My Received Files\<folder>\History

Example, mine would be..

C:\Documents and Settings\CHRIS\My Documents\My Received Files\chris4158979229\History

Can I retrieve old MSN Messenger conversations?

In main MSN screen: tools > options > messages..the folder aswell as the logging feature is under "Message History".

If you mean the Plus! logging then its: Plus > Preferences > Logging
Plus!Live:  Plus > Preferences > Conversations > Chat Logging

Is there a way to keep from having an archive?  I just don't see my messages anywhere.....

Nevermind.  Found what you guys were talking about.  Appreciate all of the help!!

Yes, simply untick every feature i mentioned in my previous post.

In addition to Sunshine's post, untick the options circled in red.

Tools > Options


Plus! > Preferences > Messenger > Chat Logging
