well yeah i just installed another hard drive with windows x64 and ubuntu amd64, quite proud of myself.

only can't get online because we have a shitty AOL connection and the even worse BT voyager modem 100 that came with the broadband subscription.

I already know no windows x64 drivers exist and i've searched over for linux drivers found eciadsl but so far hasn't really helped.

Can anyone help me out or know what modem will work with both win home, win x64 and ubuntu x64 on GAYOL AOL UK?

I installed this - http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/r/...4ubuntu1_amd64.deb - via terminal if that's what you mean

If it helps i i followed this tutorial - http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1400...ghlight=BT+voyager - (except instead of using ..._i386.deb i used ..._amd64.deb)


I seem to have the same symptons as andyJC on that forum tutorial
