I don't have a DLL to do this, but you'd have to watch for incoming headers in a conversation. Then you'd need to read the font, color, and style out of the headers. From there you'd need to encode those all in binary and put them into Messenger's Font setting in the registry. Then you'd need to close and reopen the chat window(s) to apply the change.

yeah it sends the font name in packets of information. Whats the point of getting only the name?
You could straight forward go ahead and ask your contact ... that would actually save a lot of time 
Afcourse your cant show the same font as the other user, but IF its a windows font (90% of the time) you win. Its not only the font but more the color, size, and extra's like bold...
Its possible but i dont think its usefull. |

Hi,
I think Messenger download the font otherwise Messenger couldn't 'write' it on the chat window.
It's usefull but add a DLL just for this...

It doesn't actually download their font... All it does is get the name of their font and display it as that font in your window.

Just as an aside, you wouldn't need to have it installed for them to see it - you'd just pass back the same font name that they'd sent you and it should display correctly for them, though not for you.

well i think that the script is useless without stealing the font... it just steals the nick name... but we can't fool the person we r talking to without the font...
are u going to fix it?
