O.P. [REQUEST] No Toasts when status is set to Online/Something Else
Hi,

I really enjoy the Mute script idea (by Noroom) and like another user already said at that topic, I would like to know if someone could make a script that when your status is set to anything except the busy, it (when activated) do not displays toasts (just like happens when you are at busy mode).

Is that easy to do?

The only option at the menu would be "Script: ON/OFF".

Thanks
Nicholas

Why not just turn off toasts? It's a couple clicks away from a menu...

Well, If I always wanted to be like that, that would be okey, but the main idea to create the script to disable toasts would be for those times when I want to run a Full Screen app, and I don't want to put the MSN on "Busy".

Actually I forgot to mention that would be really good if the script could detect when I run a Full Screen app, and automatically disable the toasts (turning ON the script).

When you run a full screen app, Messenger automatically sets your status to busy *-) (unless you uncheck the option)

^o)

Dead, I Know that.

The point is that I don't wanna use the BUSY status to that. I want the busy status configuration (no toasts at all) on the others status. (that's because I don't want people to see me as busy when I run a full screen app, but at the same time I don't want to see toasts).

I always hate it myself when I ask for something, people begin to give me all kind of stupid alternative suggestions that do not actually match with what I have asked for... But I don't know what your purpose of this feature is, so maybe this plugin helps: key flasher http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=63303

You can disable toasts in Messenger itself, and set this plugin to flash your keyboard led when in any status you wish. You can also make it beep if you like :)

Sorry if this is no use for you. Would like to hear if this helps or not :)
