Im planning on getting a notebook for the upcoming school year, however im not as tech saavy as some of you so I would appreciate some help. I plan on using the notebook to do homework, chat on msn, browse the net from home and at school (cable and wireless), itunes for my ipod, watch movies, download random things.

I was thinking about getting this notebook from dell.  Check out the following site. www.dell.ca/deals  Then click on shop Dell E Flyer now. Its on the top of the cover page and its called "The Multitasker"

Brand-wise, I would rather select an IBM or Toshiba laptop. They seem to have better equipped laptops than Dell.
