Sorry, another question

This feature :

Displays a toast message when someone starts a conversation with you.
Displays a toast message when someone adds you to his/her contact list.
Displays a toast message when someone removes you from his/her contact list

Is in Beta or it work at 100% ?!?
I can install Messenger Plus too, or i'll have trouble if I install boot of these ? Thank ya !!

not sure i quite understand the question, but i'll have a go.
its not possible for it to work 100% because of the way WLM runs, so its not going to get any more reliable.
You need to have Messenger Plus! Live installed to use any of these scripts.
does that answer your questions?

yeah !! Thanks for respond me  ^_^

But I have another question sorry :

Today i see the site of DiscoveryMessengerLive and in the features i see this 2 intersting features :

- Alert when a contact opens a conversation
- Alert when a contact closes a conversation

It's the same of this script, dont ya ?
It's better this script or to install DiscoveryMessengerLive ?!?
Can I use boot of them, or this is a bullshit ?!?

Thank U !!  ^^

Messenger Discovery Live is a buggy Messenger Add-On, you wont see the closed notification on Live Scripts because it is not able to be done to a great standard from what i have seen. Although i use Messenger Discovery Live occasionally i don't advise it to be used, and i think a fair few will agree, but after all, its your decision to make :)

nice script mrhuge, thx a lot! however, can you please still do the convo window close notification and add the option to turn it on/off? because when the other person is using old version of msn, the notification will still be accurate. Trust me, I installed MessengerDiscoveryLive and tested on 2 computers together. Although sometime I still get faulse notification, when the other guy close a window, the notification shows up 100%. But MessengerDiscoveryLive is too buggy, really appreciate if you can make it, thanks.

I also found Messenger Discovery Live's notifications good but i would prefer a bug free script that takes very little space than a program that takes up computer space and CPU to a large extent for just two minor features. Im sure you could do without that one feature, but i guess he has a point that an on and off would be ok for the table that are DESPERATE.

just for clarification: is messenger discovery live entirely separate from MP!L?

OS: Windows Vista SP 1

I got the problem with this script, I got a error msg everytime i'm online and someone have opened a converstation to me, and then WML closes and force me to restart WML. Then I disable the scripts, and it worked all fine. And I can't figure out why the scripts is bugging my WML. Appreciate any help

Anyway I think he's right people with old versions of messenger will send the signal when they close the window so I guess It could work with some conversations and in WLM the conection isn't terminated when the window is closed but it will be terminated at some point and the script could notify then that the conection was terminated.

Hi!

I've downloaded this fantastic script. I'm a begginer in this language, but I'm an informatic.

I've looked up the code, and I can't see the bit thats responds to the event when someone adds you from his/her contact list.

The reason is that I want to do some script that autoaccept the invitation when someone adds you.

Can u help me? Plz!

Thnx.

I have an idea that I think it would be very cool for Live notifier. Some people have so many scripts that display toasts that sometimes they don't pay much attencion to the toasts, for exemple I have DPget and Who's online and they are always showing toasts so sometimes I don't look anymore. It would be cool if when the live notifier toast pops up it played a sound, not an internal messenger sound but a custom sound that is of the same genre as the internal messenger sounds so we know it was messenger and also it was the notifier, and it would be also very cool if a log window could be added, a window that would display all the notifys that happened in the current session, and the time they happened.
