HP PSC 1300 USB Scanner Sharing at Home Network

I have HP PSC 1300 machine at home which is connected to one of the desktop computers.

I have 2 other computers at home. I can share the printer on this workgroup, but need help with scanner.

Which is the best way to use this scanner from another computer at home which is not directly connected to it but to network.

All these years of tech and tools and they never developed a tool or feature to share a scanner on network ?????

Hey, we are just saying it how we found it out to be. They may have indeed been a scanner that works on a network, but I haven't encountered one. I think it may be to do with the raw size of an captured image... Especially with todays high DPI scanners.

None of you looked hard enough.

Windows doesn't have scanner sharing capability built in, but there is third party software for that. Two examples:

I haven't used either myself, but have heard good things about the first of the two.
