There are two things that bug me about Windows Live Messenger
Other then that....i Find it very nice.

How do i view contact display pictures on the main contacts screen....kind of like in Msn Messenger 7.........And i want the display pictures to be large....and there is no option like that...

in msn messenger it used to be View contact display pictures > Large or something


Also your secondary name....you know your main msn display name...and then you have your secondary under...and its in italics

how do i get to see my contacts secondary names under their names in the main contact display... ? not to the right of their names...cuz then some of it is cut off.

I guess by the main contacts screen you mean the contact list...

next to the search for contact box theres an add button and then two arrows one going up and one going down. click on the arrow button.

Then go to the option show details and select it

all the contacts on your conact lisr should now appear with their DP!

also  shud solve the problem of the secondry name, aka personal message.

hi. wanna ask abt sumting regarding the dis pic...

wat happened is tat i installed the latest ver of Windows Live Messenger (ver 8.0.0812). and also the Messpatch for ver(8.0.0812) which there in the plug theres an option to show display pic in the contact list.

but what is missing is the status logo. like the BLOCK icon, AWAY icon or BUSY etc beside the dis pic is gone.

The previous ver of WLM i used was being modified with the plug to enable dis pic to show as well as the status logo w/o the green man in the contact list. (now is jus the dis pic only which makes me unable to identify if my friends are online etc.

So im here to ask if theres anything i can do to get the status icon back beside the display pic in the contact list.
