i've checked options more times than needed, it's all in sync, cables have been swapped. im starting to think the sub is faulty, still waiting a reply from creative.

Please let me know also about what creative answers, I have the same problem with my logitech rear speakers....

my rear speakers work but arent really loud enough to notice with mp3's.... excellent for dvds etc though

If they don't work, maybe you should take them back...

i kicked the sub when i sat down, which made it work :/

i think it was a problem with the switch on the back, it has Direct or 2CH options, one which is surround (direct) and one for 2.0 speakers, i had it on direct but i dont think it went all the way until i kicked it o_O

Either that or its slightly lose inside the switch. So it may work but it may only be tempromental. So shake the sub when its playing and tell me if it crackles and cuts out.

nah i tried that when it happened, it's all fine now and the switch goes both ways perfectly lol.

or simply, crack it open and resolder the switch no one bothers to repair these days
