i was wondering if there is any latest news bout reverting the current renaming system back to the renaming system in msn messenger 7.5 which i think most of us who have alot of contacts would prefer as the current when you rename, during tabs, you see the nick name that they put instead of the nick name which you gave... hence i think it is rather irritating as you need to take some time to figure out which tab is which of your friend. hence, patcho i was wondering if this function could be restored or added to messenger plus live.

Patchou will see if the Windows Live Messenger team develops the nickname function. If they do not, Patchou may re-add the Custom Names feature.
