New Monitor > Stuffed Colour

O.P. New Monitor > Stuffed Colour
When i started using my new monitor, the colours are now very bright and greeny, i have my colour set to 32 bit but its very weird, help will be appreciated :)

what graphics card ya got:P

i had some troubles with colur...

goto control panel
-display properties
-settings tab
-advanced
-mine says geforce on one of the tabs...after clicking that i get loads more options...
-color correction tab

and just fiddle with it, how i fixed mine anyway... hopefully hteres a similar way with your graphics card

Im on a nVidia GeForce 6200, but i just cant get them to all even out properly :( cuz like the Macromedia Flash button is black :S its meant to be red! And how come in the display properties the line of the colours in colour quality is like that? Ok another new find, there is no red goin through my monitor :S

that screenshot looks fine to me, maybe try takign a photo instead....

as lame as it is i havent got a camera at this point in time, ive come to the resolution that there is no red comin thru, but i have no idea how to resolve this.

Another trick is to change the colour temperature of your monitor. IIRC, 6500K is rather redder than 9300K.

And you should also be able to set the colour balance on the monitor individually too.

i fixed my CRT once when it kept warping into pink blue or yellow

Bingo, the plug that goes from Monitor to Drive was broken, there was a pin completely bent, thanks all for assistance :)
