O.P. Huh?  WinXPDisableZeroConfiguration.exe ?
Since i formatted this has appeared and is using 100% of my processor, can any one tell me what it is?

Considering "Configuration" is spelt wrong, I would guess not a good thing.

must've been sumthing u installed cuz why would xp disable its own wireless zero config? mine usually gets disabled when i run netstumbler, but it doesnt have a filename like that...

and google is of no help :( (edit: so thats y google didnt help, i never finish reading long words :P)

he spelt it wrong himself. it is apparently part of some wifi drivers, presumably to disable windows xp's built in wifi management.

I spelt it wrong :$, when i first stated it up it was there too:s i had no internet on it at that point as i formatted.

there was nothing installed either.
