Hello im using msn messenger 7.5 after downgrading from windows live messenger 8.1 my problem is that the button for hiding the window border has dissappeared this happened while i was using windows live messenger but i have completely reinstalled it and deleted the folder from C:\Program files i think there are sti some entries in the registry as it still remembered my settings and username anyway so yeah.... the button has disappeared

Have you tried unistall, reboot and reinstall?

Thank you for your reply, yes i did try that as i said in my first post

Try running a clean MSN i.e. no add-ons or patches.
If the button reappears, then re-enable add-ons one by one until it disappears again, and then the last add-on you enabled is the culprit.
