i just got a new mp3 player. some details:

Archos Gmini XS100

• 3GB
  
• MP3, WMA & WAV (PCM)
  
• 1.5" gray-scale LCD
  
• ARCLibrary to organize music (ID3 compatible)
  
• USB 2.0 hard drive

and it was for 99€. thats about 126$.

what do you think of?

Looks good, would be better if it had a colour screen.  how long does the battery last?

Doesn't really matter though does it. That's only for looks.

What matters is the battery life "12hours", and how much it stores "3GB" which is very nice

I think more gb will be better but for 99€ its ok

3 gigs is nothing now, if u had 3 gigs 2 years ago that wud be impressive. when i'm getting a new one, it'll minimum 20 gigs (yet still too small for my library)

but its cheap and looks nice so thats what counts

20gigs... ok but i dont have time to listen to 100000000 songs... i listen to them 1, 2 maybe 3 times and delete them. so why should i have 20 gigs of "old" songs? i like it very much and its perfect for my needs

because if u have 20 gigs u dont need to delete the songs, and you can carry them around with you where ever you go. you never know if u might need a specific one.

and how can u get bored of one song after listening to it 2 or 3 times? :/

i havnt even filled my 4 gigs mp3 player up yet

i have filled my ms pro duo of 4gb so i need to buy an 8gb
