I bought a new Soundcard / Interface (M-Audio FastTrack) and a new Microphone (Rode NT 1-A) and everythings going fine, but I have one problem. The Microphone is going through fine, I can easily hear myself through the speakers / headphones, but when I go to hit record in Adobe Audition it doesnt pick up ANYTHING, not whats playing or what I'm saying.
I want it so I can play mp3 or w/e type of audio and record just my voice in a seperate track... I dunno why it wont record. As its a sound card, it has new recording / playback volume settings in the corner (see image).
Can anybody help please?
