O.P. Windows Live OneCare detects MP!L as High risk
and advises the user to remove it immediatly, giving no option but to do so unless you go into administrator mode.

I have this on Windows Vista RC2, in case this is relevant.

Maybe we ought to start a new petition.

I'm using Windows Live OneCare 1.5 Beta, and have MessengerPlus! Live installed (without optional Adware) and OneCare has not yet warned me of MP!L being a threat.

I have OneCare 1.5.1824.10 running on Vista RC2 (5744), all legal software, it detected the MP!L Installer as a High Risk and it advised me to immediatly remove it.

I chose admin options (damned UAC) and set the file to 'always ignore.'

Only later it the log it showed me info that it is detected as a 'Software Bundler.' But none-the-less, the threat indicator is set to high andthat's bound to freak out a few people.
