mid next yr im going overseas and I wont be able to have internet access for about a month, anyways i know about MSN hotmail accounts being inactive for 10 days and it resets everything on your account ie msn spaces, so is there a way to extend my inactive when i wont be able to log into MSN hotmail? thanks for any help

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you had to be inactive for 90 days?

edit: I just checked it and I was wrong... it is 120 days

After 30 days, the account is deactivated, and all messages deleted.
After 90 120 days, the account itself is deleted.

And to re-activate the account, just sign in [Image: msn_wink.gif]

If you don't want to lose all your messages and that ask somebody you trust to sign you in once or twice while you're gone just to be sure...

Only somebody you trust.

You can always upgrade to Windows Live Mail. It ok in terms of bugginess, and i dont think it has an expiry date for its accounts yet

EDIT: Yourre welcome!

That's for Windows Live Mail. For both Free Hotmail and Free Live Mail accounts one thing is the same: you can reactivate (not get your previous emails back) the inactive account within 90 days. After that the account will be deleted.
